City Tour with bilingual guide
Pick up at 8am to go to the Tijuca waterfalls in the biggest tropical urban forest. From there, the guide will take you to the Christ statue and Sugar Loaf Mountain then return back to the hostel. – 8hrs Duration.
Hang gliding at Pedra da Gavea
Tandem jumps over the Rocinha favela, spectacular mountains and Rio’s beaches, around 12-15 minutes in the air before landing in the sand of São Conrado beach. Photos and video are available on request. Pick up and return from the hostel.
Favela Tour
Zoom up to the top on the back of a motor bike. Mix with the locals of the biggest shanty town in South America. Visit a local artist, a children’s school and try some specialties from the food stalls. Leaves at 10am and 2pm from the bottom of Favela. – Duration 4hrs
Football at the Maracanã Stadium
Go crazy at a Brazilian football game amongst the wild and loud cheering fans. Whether you like football or not, you will love the experience. Football is religion in Brazil. Pick up and return from the hostel.
Horse back riding in Recreio
Go riding into the tropical mountains to a river with a small water fall and swimming hole, take a dip in the fresh water. Relaxing with great enjoyment for all levels of riding. Guided by a local cowboy – Duration 3hrs
